Kent Kramer, age 44 of Twin Falls, Idaho, formerly of Northfield and Le Center died unexpectedly on 31st, August, 2016. Kent was born March 20th, 1972 ( 1st day of spring) in New Prague, MN. the son of Thomas and Lucy (Lutgen) Kramer. He was raised on Lake Volney, by Le Center, MN.
He enjoyed life on the lake as only a boy can. Fishing, swimming, water skiing, boating, ice skating and snowmobiling. Kent met some of his life-long friends during his Elem. school days. While in high school he worked at the Country Kitchen and Nelson’s restaurant where he began his love of cooking, but not baking! Kent worked at Malt-O-Meal in Northfield for years.
He moved to Twin Falls, Idaho in Jan, of this past year and got in on the ground level of the new Clif Bar plant. He loved the beauty and the weather of the area, (Christmas in AZ. this past year was too warm!) Kent was always a happy guide to all of us tourists who came to visit him. Kent had a great sense of humor and a kindness about him.
Kent enjoyed downhill skiing, mountain biking, reading, cooking, grilling, camping, movies and cooking shows.
Kent is survived by his mother Lucy Freeman, step-father George Freeman, his father Thomas Kramer, sister Tracy Greenfield, nephews Sid and Max Greenfield, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents Ted and Rose Lutgen, Bernard and Muriel Kramer and a cousin Holly Hogland.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held Saturday, October 1, 2016 from 10 AM to 12 PM at Bierman Funeral Home with a light lunch being served at 11:30 AM. Arrangements by Bierman Funeral Home
