I had the great pleasure of working with and joking around with Dennis in the Carleton’s facilities office when I worked with Beth Closner. I remember his great “grass” experiment in the window sill of his office, trying to figure out the best seed that the students could not kill. Also, our daughters grew up on Fareway Drive and as neighbors you could not have been any better! I am so deeply sorry that Dennis is gone so young. May he rest in peace, free from illness. God Bless your family.

    Dear Katherine and Annie,
I only now learned of the death of Dennis. I am very sorry to hear of this and I send my heart-felt thoughts to you. There are many good memories of good neighbors like you on St. Olaf Ave and of your personal and affectionate relationship to me and Sue. Best wishes,
