He retired as a Driver for HealthPartners. He had a love for family, sports, fishing and the outdoors. Christian, Husband, Father, Son, Grandpa and Best Friend, he played 18 years of softball, with his team winning the Men’s ASA National Softball Champion in 1986. He retired as a Driver for HealthPartners. He had a love for family, sports, fishing and the outdoors.
He enjoyed spending time with both of his sons out in Montana and summers in Mississippi with his daughter. He had a special relationship with all his grandchildren.
They are members of the Evangelical Covenant Church and attended
Park Ave, Crosstown, Eagan, and Crossroads Covenant and finally Emmaus Baptist church were just a few places they called home. Covenant Pines Bible Camp was where he spent his summers working and worshipping faithfully with an unrelenting faith for Jesus Christ. He stood firm in his faith in God with a zest for life in servanthood.
Steve and Debby spent their early retirement years serving in central China teaching English and Nursing.
He is proceeded in death by his parents Clarence and Ruth Holm and brother Micheal Holm.
He is survived by his wife and best friend Debby; his brother Chuck (Carol) Holm; his sons Peter (Nadine), Ryan (Abby) Holm and daughter Julia (Jeffrey) Breland. He will be missed by 6 grandsons, 8 granddaughters, and 1 great-grandson.
