Lanna Rae (Keske) Baker died peacefully early Friday morning, October 16, 2015 after a courageous fight with cancer. Lanna Rae Keske was born at home on the family farm near Webster Minnesota on July 11, 1947 to parents Ray and Irene (Trnka) Keske. Lanna went to school in Webster and then Northfield, graduating from Northfield Sr. High School. She married John Baker in 1968. In addition to actively working on the farm with John and raising their 3 daughters together, Lanna spent much of her life also working in retail in the Northfield area including: Rogers Drug Store, Montgomery Wards, Northfield Variety and The Christmas Attic. Lanna loved gardening and floral design, and worked for Irwins Flowers in the early 90’s before purchasing and operating Timmers Floral in the mid 90’s. After growing and expanding the business, she sold the shop in 1998, Lanna continued her retail work as the manager at Heritage Halls Transportation Museum in Owatonna and then returned to Northfield retail once again at Judy’s Floral Market in Northfield until her retirement. Through the years Lanna enjoyed Collecting antiques, arts and crafts, gardening, fishing, painting and spending time at the cabin, which became her favorite place to be in her later years.

Lanna is survived by her husband of 46 years, John, 3 daughters, Melissa (Todd) Wahl of Dillworth, MN, Michelle (Joe) Amy of Northfield, Maria (Malcolm) Watt of Dundas, Brother Brent (Shelly) Keske of Waterford, and 8 Grandchildren. Lanna was preceeded in death by her parents Ray & Irene Keske, andtwo brothers.

Funeral Services will be at 11:30 AM, Monday, October 26, 2015 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Northfield, with Visitation prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:30 am. Interment will be at a later date. Arrangements are with the Bierman Funeral Home of Northfield.
